Frequently Asked Questions
US$ 35 per mini buggy for the 2-hour tour, and the buggy seats two. The park entrance fee is separate: S/ 11 per adult and S/ 3 per child aged 6 to 15. Prices around Paracas run from US$ 35 to US$ 55 per vehicle — always check whether a quote is per buggy or per person.
Per buggy. One mini buggy carries two people who can swap the wheel, so you split the cost. This trips travelers up constantly: some operators quote per person, and the real total ends up double what you thought.
Included: the guided mini buggy tour through the National Reserve, a bilingual Spanish–English guide, and safety gear. Not included: food, and the SERNANP park entrance fee (S/ 11 adult, S/ 3 child), which you pay in cash at the gate.
We run departures through the day from our Paracas office — typically 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Check which slot is free when you book: in high season the afternoon runs fill up days ahead.
No. SERNANP doesn't allow mini buggies inside the National Reserve without a guide — the tour runs as a convoy behind an official guide. If you want to explore the Reserve on your own, the legal option is renting a scooter and following a self-guided route.
Two: a driver and a passenger, and you can swap during the tour. Drivers must be 18 or over; passengers from age 6.
You can still take it — the price is per buggy, so you drive the whole route with the seat next to you free. If you'd rather not pay for the full vehicle, message us on WhatsApp and we'll check whether another solo traveler is booked on the same slot.
Yumaque Beach and its golden sand, the Isthmus viewpoint at the center of the peninsula with the widest view, and Red Beach. Each stop is 10 minutes. La Catedral isn't on this route — that's only on the 3-hour tour.
Depends on your schedule. If you're passing through and want the essentials, two hours does the job. If you have the afternoon free, the 3-hour adds La Catedral, more time at each stop, and reaches Red Beach at sunset, which is when the photos are worth it.
