US$ 720 for the whole group of 4 to 6 guests — US$ 120 to US$ 180 each depending on numbers. That covers the private boat, a private vehicle for the National Reserve, an English-speaking guide all day, and the SERNANP entrance fee. Only meals and extras are excluded.

The boat is yours, so there's no queue at the pier and no waiting on other passengers. The vehicle for the Reserve is private too, and the guide works only for your party. The SERNANP fee is bundled in, which it isn't on the group tour.

We meet at 7:50 a.m. at our Paracas office. The boat leaves at 8:00 a.m. and returns to the pier at 10:00 a.m. After free time, the Reserve tour starts at 11:10 a.m. and you're back in Paracas around 2:10 p.m.

A windbreaker is essential — the boat is cold even in summer. Plus a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, and swimwear and a towel if you want to get in the water at La Mina. In winter bring something warm; the peninsula runs colder than the town.

The Port Authority can close the port for strong winds or high tide. If that happens we reschedule at no cost or refund the boat portion in full. During Easter week and national holidays the tour may finish 30 minutes early.
