Yes. From the official viewpoints at Palpa and Nazca you can see up to 10 figures and lines without getting into a plane. It's not the full aerial view, but it's the real alternative if you get motion sick, don't like flying, or are travelling with small children.

From the Nazca viewpoint you see the Tree, the Hands and the Lizard. From the Palpa viewpoints you see the Bird, the Warrior and other hillside figures. The famous ones in the middle of the pampa — hummingbird, astronaut, monkey — only read properly from the air.
About six hours from Paracas, round trip included. We agree the departure time with you. Leaving early is worth it: midday heat on the pampa is severe and the viewpoints have no shade at all.
That's exactly who it's for. It's entirely on the ground, no aircraft, and physically easy — most of the route is in the vehicle and the walks are short, up to the observation platforms. It's also the option if you're travelling with small children.

Sunscreen and a hat above everything — the viewpoints have no shade. Plus a windbreaker, sunglasses, plenty of water, comfortable shoes and cash in soles for the entry fees. In winter bring a warm layer for the drive back.
